People are just nuts…

I’m a bit addicted to the news…and this one takes the cake

Please don’t get me wrong, I love animals and I have nothing aganist those who love them more than me… but be for real

PETA sent a letter to Ben and Jerry’s ice cream telling them that they should use Human Breast milk to make ice cream instead of cow’s milk.

OMG…do they know that in addition to being the best thing for babies, various things can be transmitted via breast milk and how would all that breast milk be collected to even make a pint…

and nobody in that meeting though this was odd…

there are more important things in this world to worry about right now …go figure. 

I promised myself, i would not post about politics and religion… but i came across this movie the other night and it is making me think…

Take a look at it… i’m not calling sides because i think each side has the potential for fraud, but i feel run over as an american..

So many people fought for us to have this right and that a few or maybe many want to do this to us or have done this to us, makes me feel run over…

This is so bigger than all of us, how can we know if our vote is truly counted for the person we voted for..

It does not matter who we are… we are americans dammit, and this is just wrong…

Is this a right of passage…

as a teenager, to wear your pants so that your underwear is always showing…

Several communities have banned it, saying that it promotes unease for tourist. Schools forbid it as being out of dress code…our intermidiate school puts uses cop strenght twist ties to keep those pants up…

Yet parents continue to buy these pants for their kids…

There is proof that wearing your pants with the buckle directly over the penis, does cause some damage to said part.. this is what my doctor told my son. He gave her the Oh Shit look…

Is this fashion similar to the mini skirt, or the bell bottoms or even the afro, or the two piece bathing suit.. Some of the smarter young men and fighting this in their communities, saying it is their right to wear their clothing the way they want to…

I notice in restuarants that the wait staff don’t have their pants hanging down their ass. I point these things out to my child.

What is your escapism….   in light of the everything going on these days… I had this thought at the end of the latest Indiana Jones movie.. right after I said wow … 

One of mine is I love watching  movies, especially the summer flicks and the winter releases… it is a time when you can sit in a dark room and not worry about anything that you walked in that theatre with,… depending on the movie, it can even bring your heart rate down…

I tend to put all the previews in one of several groups… 

My favorite movie partner and I look at previews, we look at each other and say to each other… must see, meaning it must be seen on the big screen within the first week they come out…others are never, some are 50 cent cinema, some are video only .. and some are movie grill only… 

After a somewhat productive day… I returned to the hotel and picked up the USA Today…  I usually don’t have time to read them but two headlines caught my eye this morning… Angioplasty rates going down…and Maya Angelou at 80…

As I sat in the restaurant, nursing my second Cosmo, I read the articles…

I have been a fan of Ms. Angelou forever…I was trying to think of when i read, “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings” and couldn’t remeber the year, but I do remember how moved I was. I am an avid reader… I have a novel on my nightstand, another in my purse and yet another in the car…I am addicted to audiobooks…

As I read about one of my favorite authors, I went back in time. I remember feeling blessed because I had a safe childhood compared to this lady. I remembered hearing a poem by Nikki Giovani, tittled “Ego Tripping”… I remember some person making fun of me buying a book for 15.00 and telling me I was wasting my money. I wonder where that fool is.

The article reminded me on my “Life List”… what will I be able to say at 80… I don’t want regrets… she says…”regret is a very strong word. I hate it. But I wish I more time…”

Why I do this…i had the opportunity to answer a question  about why we do what we do…

I have always wanted to do this since college, but did not have the balls or could not figure out how to get started, so it got buried. Many years later, i found myself talking to a pretty young lady who i felt comfortable with and asked her…her advice was to place an ad in Eros…I had no clue waht that was, so again this got buried.

A major company in corporate america, laid me off. I had a hard time getting a job, because i was over qualified and me and my resume scared people…go figure. I had been looking at the backpage and finally got the balls to call someone, went to see some man who told me I was too ethnic or thick for this clients…

I ended up on adult friend finder, wow. I met a great couple who i enjoy a lot. It was while visiting their home that i realized that she was a provider. I changed my ad of aff that night. I then got my current job that allowed me to travel, so i have been sampling the locals everywhere i went…

I was lucky enough to met a wonderfull gent from a hobby site ,  who told me i needed to get over there…the rest is history. To that gentleman who thought i was too ethnic or thick, get over youself…

At first, it was because of the money, but like the other ladies stated, I really enjoy what i do, love meeting new people, have heard some great stories…

Again, welcome to my site. I really do enjoy putting pen to paper and writting electronically.. i.e blogging.  As i go through my day, sometimes  i have experiences that cause a little voice to say, i need to write this down someplace….

Now, i don’t write just because…there has to be a cause… so I may not blog everyday, or I might blog several times in one day…

Please feel free to chime in with a comment or send an email about any topic i write about.  There are several bloggers that i follow…

What you will find out about me through my blogs, is that I do stay current with world events as they do affect me in some way.   I am also a hugh football fan and go through intense withdrawal from January until August. You all will figure out who my favorite team is soon enough, I’m not going to tell you now.  

I’m addicted to the show Dancing With The Stars.  This season is already strange… the couples match up had me is stiches this week…

You will also know that as I travel i’m keeping track of which bar makes the best Cosmopolitian… so far the winner is Dave and Buster, second place is the airport bar at the Dayton Ohio airport across from AA gate 14 i think. So if you know how to make one, send me that info in an email…  my worst place ever was in Eagle Pass Texas…I can’t even bring myself to tell you the restaurant.

You noticed that I stayed away from politics and religion…  we all have our opinions.
